Oil/canvas. In the foreground of the painting by a Flemish master is the flight from Troy of Aeneas with his father Anchises, whom he carries on his shoulders, his son Ascanius and his wife Creusa. The ruins of the palace of Primamos are in darkness, only one tower being more brightly lighted, which accentuates the group of persons who are below it. The incarnate parts of the persons are also much brighter. In the background one can see the burning Troy with the Trojan horse. Good original condition. Flemish, mid-17th century. H x W approx. 99 x 118 cm, ger.
