Fragment of a Shiva as Natharaja. Bronze. South India. Late Chola, 10th/11th century.
In dancing pose, only the attribute, an hourglass drum (damaru), is preserved in the right side hand. Thin hair braids spread over shoulder and back. Plexiglass base.
