Oil on canvas. Signed "HSchmidt" and dated u.r. Verso on the stretcher o.l. inscribed in pen. Verso on the stretcher annotations in fibre pencil. Framed in a gold-bronze stucco moulding with corner applications.
Painting layer with early shrinkage cracks (inherent to the work). Age craquelure and slight climatic edge. Partially framing-related marks. On verso flat cardboard backing of recent date between canvas and stretcher. Frame overcast.
Measures: 26.5 x 37.1 cm, overall 38.3 x 48.6 cm.
