From "KARA-Mappe" 1922 - 1924, probably depicting her sister Berthe.
German-Dutch avant-garde photographer, war reporter and hotel manager. The portfolio "Métal", which she published in 1928, made her one of the most famous photographers of her time. She was like a "mirror that transforms the image of the world". (Quote: Jean Cocteau, 1930).
