René Goscinny's first work: Asterix The Gaul One numbered copy EA27 (Artbook/special edition for authors/paying rights holders) This edition, published on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Asterix, has been produced from the original scenarios written by René Goscinny and the original plates drawn by Albert Uderzo. We would like to thank Mr Albert Uderzo and Mrs Anne Goscinny for having opened up their personal archives to us, allowing us to present for the first time all the working documents used for the album Le Gaulois. 800 copies of this work were printed, numbered from 1 to 800, and 100 artist's proofs numbered from EA1 to EA100.
