"Terra Incognita" by Claire Fanjul, 2020 Silkscreen print, enhanced with a heart by the artist, on the occasion of this sale Signed and numbered (n° 35/50). Silkscreen print by Atelier Kencre Framed work : 53 x 53 cm (painted wood frame) "Inspired by ancient cartographies of conquistadors, I create phantasmagorical territories composed of elements of popular culture; medieval coats of arms, a fantastic bestiary and an imaginary typography. I hand-drew a heart-shaped balloon as a nod to the Foundation." The work is a silkscreen print made from a pen and ink drawing on paper.
