Chased and gilt bronze clock, the round white enamelled dial marked Terrien in Paris presents Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, iron track on the perimeter, the openwork hands, it is surmounted by an elegant draped woman sitting on a cushion and holding a mirror in her hand, it is flanked by two upside down consoles decorated with foliage and underlined by two leaning griffins. It rests on a rectangular stepped base with a central projection decorated with a frieze representing the allegory of painting, embellished on either side with quivers and flaming torches. The set rests on four half spheres. Mechanical movement with key winding, striking the hours and half hours. 19th century (accident to the enamel and crack) Height : 36,5 cm 36.5 cm - Width : 25 cm - Depth : 11 cm
