Majolica. Height cm 11,3. Conservation: very good; some minimal chipping and felting to the glaze The salt cellar, square section, has the side walls pierced with lozenges and is supported by lion paws. Four harpies, modelled in the round, are placed on the four vertical corners with their wings touching in the middle. A similar salt cellar is in Faenza, Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche (Inv. no. 14305) see C.RavanelliGuidotti, Faenza-faïence "Bianchi" diFaenza, Montorio 1996, no. 151.
