Majolica decorated in blue monochrome. Height 21.5 cm. Conservation: very good; minor chipping to the glaze Albarello with an inverted truncated cone body, with keeled shoulder and chalice, sloping shoulder and high neck, decorated with a motif of "porcelain-style" leafy circles. In the centre there is an apothecary cartouche with the inscription "Ell° D SEBES.MTE" (i.e. Electuary of Sebesten) in block letters, dominated by a heart-shaped emblem. The back has a large reserve with a geometric motif in very cursive drafting Cf. The shape of the albarello and the rapidly executed graffitied spiral motif, which we see decorating the neck, are of castle derivation. We note these secondary elements of the ornamentation of the vases of the famous Orsini-Colonna Pharmacy.
