Beautiful map of France in 2 sheets, on the left side are the arms of the different provinces. Under the cartouche, dedication to Michael Sagramoso. Vincenzo Coronelli (1650-1718), encyclopaedist, geographer, inventor and doctor of theology, was a citizen of the Republic of Venice. He was also one of the most eminent cartographers and editors in Europe of his time.
