AN EXCEPTIONAL AQUAMARINE AND DIAMOND NECKLACE, BROOCH AND EARRINGS SUITE, 1950s the necklace formed of a series of thirty-eight graduated emerald cut aquamarines, punctuated by tapering rows of graduated round cut diamonds, the brooch and earrings (which were made from links removed from the necklace, which was shortened in the 1980s for the current owner), similarly comprised of emerald cut aquamarines punctuated by tapering batons set with round cut diamonds, the largest aquamarine of 19.83 carats, the aquamarines in all pieces totalling 135.0-150.0 carats, the diamonds in all pieces totalling 9.5-11.0 carats, no assay marks, necklace 35.0cm, brooch 3.1cm, earrings 2.5cm, 123.9g. Provenance: The property of a lady - acquired from S J Phillips in the 1970s, thence by descent.
