This scene from the famous epic story the Ramayana depicts the final battle between the hero Rama and the demon Ravana, who has kidnapped his wife Sita. Rama pursued Ravana on his great golden chariot and shot golden arrows that turned into a snake. Here, Rama's arrows have already cut off a large part of Ravana's arms, which fall to the ground. (Wear and tear on the borders)
