A rosewood and rosewood veneer display cabinet; of Chinese-inspired architectural form, the projecting upper part presents an arched pediment centered by a clasp; the sides with sloping angles decorated with pierced floral scroll and dragon motifs (added); the recessed base with gadroon and umbilical scroll motifs; small arched feet. The interior is fitted with compartmentalized shelves whose fields are adorned with gilt bronze rushes; mirror backs.
