This rum is made from organic molasses from Laos, fermented and distilled twice in our distillery. After numerous yeast tests and fermentation times, we selected the one that best suited our palates as connoisseurs. Rum with greedy notes of toffee, delicately liquoriced.
FALERNUM
Falernum is, historically, a liqueur made of rum, lime, almonds and spices, originating from Barbados to enhance your cocktails, created in the 18th century. The Distillerie d'Isle de France wanted to share with you its modern recipe for this liqueur, little known in France, by delivering its unsweetened version. The almond, ginger, lime and spices are macerated and then distilled in a 500 litre Stupfler still to unite and offer you not a liqueur but a rum with exotic flavours to give you a natural base for your Mojitos, Daïquiri, Rum Mule, Pina Colada and tutti quanti. There are different versions of Falernum in the world but the one from the Distillerie d'Isle de France stands out because you can drink it dry, on ice, in cocktails and even to cook your dishes and desserts.
MACA SPICED
The meeting of Rum and 5 fresh and natural spices Maca, created by Michaël Landart in 2016, is one of the rare Spiced Rums elaborated without any added flavouring, only from fresh spices macerated with a rum from Mauritius. The idea of its creator, Michaël Landart, a passionate traveller and expert in the world of Rum, is to bring freshness and innovation to the world of spiced rums. The 100% natural spices, selected with care and creativity, offer an aromatic depth and a clean and frank finish.
