Saddle rifle.
Flintlock locks converted to percussion. Double barrel in table, forged with ribbons. Short barrel, cheek stock decorated with a carved lion and scrolls. Engraved iron fittings and cut-out decoration of hunting scenes. A button allows the stock to be folded sideways, allowing this weapon to be placed on a saddle cast iron. This rifle is signed in gold letters on the locks and the band of the barrels: ALBERT RENETTE A PARIS.
Interesting early 19th century weapon.
