Carlotta Zambelli (1875-1968) was an Italian dancer and teacher who trained at La Scala in Milan and was hired by the Paris Opera as a principal dancer in 1984, then quickly promoted to principal dancer. She shot a sound film for the 1900 Universal Exhibition, the "Phono, Cinéma Théâtre" with Sarah Bernhardt, Mounet-Sully, Réjane, etc. as partners.
She was decorated Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur in 1956.
