Old inscription by another hand on the reverse: "Copia della andinelli (?)".
(Upper edge irregularly cut, trace of watermark on the paper).

Provenance:
- Probably former Arcangelo Spagna collection (1632-1726), according to the inscription. Arcangelo Spagna was a musician with a passion for archaeology and antiques. He worked for cardinals Barberini and Ottoboni, and later for Pope Clement XI Albani.
- Former Charles Molinier (1845-1910) collection, stamped lower left (Lugt 2917).
Condition: Top edge irregularly cut. Original horizontal folds in the centre. Opaque stains towards the centre, foxing. Staining at top left and right, and at bottom left. Small tear (2 cm) at bottom right. The drawing has been detached from a late 19th century mount. A strip added in the upper part (1 to 2 cm high) put the drawing back to the rectangle, with a drawn extension of the brandished weapon.
