- BURGUNDY. Noei Borguignon by Gui Barôzai. Fifth edition. An Bregogne (Dijon), 1738; in 12, fawn-coloured calf, spine ornamented, red edges. The author, Bernard de La Monnoye, born on June 15, 1641 in Dijon and died on October 15, 1728, was a French poet, philologist and critic, known mainly for his Noei Borguignon. This edition was published ten years after his death. A fine copy. An edition of the Théâtre de Piere Corneille, published in 1648, in 12, faded brown calf of the time. The first few leaves are missing.
