Modern brown cloth binding (Size 42x32 cm) containing the original prints and postcards published following this highly publicized event praising the power and reliability of Citroën automobiles against a background of colonial ideology. With 54 vintage silver prints (average size 12.5x18.5 cm), all with captions. 12 postcards from 1925, some of them taking pictures present in this binding. Problematic lake crossing, life in the desert, baobab tree, mission in Timbuktu, Senegal river, breakdown in virgin forest, team of drivers, arab spy, lake Chad, Mangbetu village, abdominal deformation in young people, Algeria, Pygmies, albinos, Niger river, hunting, female ballet corps, Ubangi.... All in very good condition.
