Paul tree Way to Niedergrunstedt near Weimar Around 1886 Oil on canvas 50.5 x 80.5 cm Framed. Signed 'Paul Baum' in brown lower left. - In the sky part partly with weak craquelé. Hitzeroth B 29 v Provenance Gift of the artist to Carl Bantzer; since then in family possession. This is a repetition of the same pictorial motif in the painting "Weg nach Niedergrunstedt" from 1886 (Staatliche Kunstsammlungen zu Weimar). Paul Baum gave the painting to his long-time artist friend and later director of the Kassel Art Academy, Carl Bantzer.
