SOUBRIER house in Paris Important Art Deco bedroom set in rosewood veneer composed of : - A wardrobe with two full doors revealing an interior consisting of a wardrobe and a drawer unit. The curved front, the facetted feet continuing in amounts. Original silvered bronze articulated handles and lock entries. Stamped with the ink SOUBRIER Paris on the back. H. 190 cm - W. 186 cm - D. 52 cm - A double bed. The head in semi-circle, the faceted feet continuing in amounts. H. 140 cm - L. 220 cm - W. 158 cm A pair of rosewood veneered bedside tables opening each with a full door, a drawer and a niche. Marble tops. 1930-40's. H. 65 cm - W. 48 cm - D. 35 cm According to the family tradition this bedroom furniture would have been used as a set in the movie "La mandarine" directed by Édouard Molinaro and in which appeared Annie Girardot and Philippe Noiret.
