Rare Venetian edition of this pious work by St. Anthony of Forciglioni (1389-1459), Dominican preacher and archbishop of Florence, canonized in 1523.
It is printed in Roman script, except for the title which is in Gothic script, set in an ornamental woodcut frame and bears the typographical mark of the publishers, the latter repeated on the verso of the last leaf.

Blue pen marks on verso of last leaf, stains on last 2 leaves on back covers. Worm damage repaired in the margin and at the bottom corner of about twenty leaves.
