The Speculum vitae humanae or Mirror of Human Life, a famous moral treatise by the Spanish historian Rodrigo Sanchez de Arevalo, known as Rodericus, bishop of Zamora, secretary to John II and later to Henry IV of Castile, first appeared in Rome in 1468.
