However, there are a few small losses of material on the edges, notably a loss in the lower part under the third figure from the left and a loss in the upper part on the second figure from the left. A slanted scratch of 5.5 cm long is to be noted. It starts from the lower border under the third character from the right. This scratch is 4.2 cm from the edge in height and is between 60.4 cm and 64 cm in width. A small retouch of about 8mm and from the artist's hand is to be noted on the right sleeve of the second character from the right. A very small lack of material of about 1mm is to be noted on the slit of the young boy's blouse on the far right of the composition. Frame: The outer corners of the frame are damaged; A small hole (from a nail) is also visible on the upper central part.
