Pietà, small miniature (dimensions of the miniature: 50 x 52 mm) surrounded by three-quarter illuminated and compartmentalized borders with coloured acanthus decoration, small gilded discs, floral motifs and a zoomorphic hybrid, ornamented initials.
France, Paris, ca. 1480-1490.
Dimensions of the folio: 111 x 189 mm (text on the back, continuation of the O intemerata prayer, borders similar to those on the recto)

Another leaf from the same book of hours : Saint Matthew and the Angel, leaf from the Evangelical Pericopes, small miniature surrounded by three-quarter illuminated and compartmentalized borders with acanthus, floral and hybrid zoomorphic motifs. Size: 110 x 185 mm. Face of St. Matthew partially erased, loss of pigment on the tunic of St. Matthew.
