Door lock and its strike and handle in chased and gilded bronze in the style Empire with the figure of Napoleon III and Eugenie. The lock and its strike in the form of a rectangle extended by a semicircle present, in a large flat frame, an identical decoration of a N interlaced with two leafy E's, inside a torus of laurel leaves surrounded by a double palmette and lightning. At the place of the handle, a circular reserve is chiselled with a rosette of small leaves. The handle, ovoid, is surmounted by an N topped by the imperial crown. The mechanism was never put in place. The figures are those of Napoleon III and Eugenie. The decorations are those of the first imperial period. Cf. Palais des Tuileries model. France second half of the XIXth century. - Door lock and its strike and its handle in chased and gilded bronze of the Empire period with the figure of Louis-Philippe. The rectangular palasters, extended by a semicircle, are decorated with a torus framed by lightning bolts and palmettes in a moulded frame. The handle is in the centre of a rosette of foliage also framed by a circular moulding. The handle, in the shape of an elongated hexagon, is chiseled with a rosette between two palmettes (fixed by screws). Cast bronze, chased in light relief on a gilded and amatised background. France Empire period. The figure of King Louis Philippe LPO was added in 1841 to the centre of the torus. Model found at the Palais Royal. Missing some elements of the applique including the rosette of the strike as well as the whole mechanism. - Door lock strike and its handle with the Emperor's figure Napoleon 1er. The rectangular palate extended by a half arch offers in a frame of flat mouldings, a large N projecting in the centre of a torus chiselled with laurel leaves, framed by palmettes and a thunderbolt. Under the handle a rosette ornament chiseled with small palmettes and culots. The handle in elongated hexagon, decorated with lotus and fleurons is of later period than the lock. Cf.
