A unusually large cast brass lidded ewer, Mughal India, 18th century, the pear-shaped body on pedestal base standing on four small feet, with a straight spout and serpentine handle with dragon and lion-head terminals, including a hinged domed cover, decorated with plain chiselled lotus petals to base and neck, 38.2cm. high
