A black stone sculpture of Shiva, India, 19th century in a 10th century style, carved wearing a bejewelled tiered tiara, the elegant rounded face with almond eyes, straight nose and bow lips, and flanked with pendulous earlobes, wearing strands of elaborate jewellery, mounted on metal plinth, 54cm. high x 44cm. diam.
