Stone mantel in the Louis XVI style
The straight lintel is enlivened in the middle by a rose within a lozenge, a motif also present on the jambs. Two additional roses are placed at the ends of the lintel.
The upper part of the trumeau is decorated with a frieze of grapefruits and a male head in the middle. Two pilasters with Corinthian capitals, decorated with plant motifs, support the frieze.
An imposing carved and molded cornice with a beaded frieze completes the composition.
19th century.
