Renaissance altar Companion piece or miniature of an Italian church interior. The main altar with its pikes, surmounted by a niche for a bust, is framed by double columns with Corinthian capitals, the walls decorated with pilasters and moulded frames. The vaulted ceiling is decorated with coffers. Wood painted in imitation of marble and gilded. 17th century. Italy. Height 160 x 80 x 30 cm
