Novum Jesu Christi Testamentum, vol.1 only (of 2), collation: a-z aa-zz aaa-mmm8, triple column, title with woodcut printer's device, lacking final blank, ink ownership inscriptions to title, occasional light staining or spotting, lightly browned, 17th century blind-stamped panelled calf, covers with later gilt floral centre-piece and thistle corner-pieces, rebacked by the Cambridge Bookbinding Guild (see note to front free endpaper) in 20th century calf, spine in compartments and with earlier burgundy and green morocco labels, corners worn, rubbed, 8vo (140 x 86mm.), [Geneva], Robert Estienne, 1551. ⁂ Provenance: D.
