Buddha
Gandhara art, ca. 4th-5th centuries
Stucco. H. 19 cm
Superb fragment of a Buddha head. Despite being partially missing, this work is a perfect example of the great classical style commonly referred to as "Greco-Buddhist" often associated with the site of Hadda.
Traces of polychromy.
