Bronze, chased and gilded chamberlain's key of Tsar Alexander I Ring with a double-headed eagle and the number AI. On the back, a tab for fixing the ribbon. Grooved stem, decorated with foliage. X-shaped bit. Minor wear to the gilding. L.15,5 cm Alexander I of Russia, born Alexander Povlovich Romanov (12 December 1777 - 19 November 1825), son of Tsar Paul I and Tsarina Sophie-Dorothea of Wurtemberg, became Tsar of Russia in 1801. He was also Grand Duke of Finland and King of Poland. He was Napoleon I's enemy from 1804 to 1815.
