Alexander I of Russia, born Alexander Povlovich Romanov (12 December 1777 - 19 November 1825), son of Tsar Paul I and Tsarina Sophie-Dorothea of Wurtemberg, became Tsar of Russia in 1801. He was also Grand Duke of Finland and King of Poland. He was Napoleon I's enemy from 1804 to 1815.
