SÈVRES
Coffee service with mythological portraits representing the Roman gods of Olympus (Jupiter, Diana, Venus, Mars, Juno, Neptune,...) in busts, treated in polychrome on a grisaille background, in medallions on a blue background decorated with friezes of golden flowers. The saucers decorated in the center of neoclassical attributes (quiver ....) treated in polychrome on a grisaille background. On the reverse side double date UU affixed from September 1796 to September 1797. The letter k for the painter Charles DODIN, painter of figures and symbols active in Sevres until 1803 and Sevres in all letters. It includes: a covered coffee pot, a covered sugar bowl, a cream jug, a milk jug, six litron cups and their saucers.
