ENGLAND TUDOR DYNASTY Very rare baluster-shaped earthenware pitcher with brown monochrome cover, adapted to the neck of a very fine silver gilt frame with lid surmounted by a putto near a coiled snake. The hinge is composed of two coiled dolphins terminated by acanthus leaves. The frame has incised decoration on the neck and on the lid of flowers treated in scrolls.
