Tears to spine. Portrait of Sarpi, in frontispiece, without indication of the engraver; copper engraving taken from the museum of Doge Pietro Gradenigo (before the biography) and another with an allegory of the Republic of Venice and the papacy (preceding the works). Among the prints of Sarpi's works, probably "the most beautiful is the one of Verona with the date of Helmstad 1750" (see Bianchi Giovini, Biography of Frà Paolo Sarpi, Bibliographical Appendix, II / p. 387). The work appeared at the same time as an in-4° edition.
