Set of books on the house of Savoy, including two biographies of Princess Clotilde of Savoy (different editions, 1913 and 1930), Les Epouses des souverains de Savoie, by Valerio Attili, 1893, with consignment to Princess Letizia, a volume of French Cantiques, with handwritten mention of Queen Letizia. A missal and a notebook, identically bound, are enclosed. Provenance: Villa Cyrnos, sumptuous residence where the Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III, lived at the end of her life. The villa was frequented by crowned heads.
