La forma "conica" della testa, sormontata da elaborata acconciatura dei capelli è stilisticamente riconducibile ad alcuni esemplari rinvenuti a Jemaa e conservati al Museo di Lagos, databili intorno al IV secolo a.C. Raro reperto caratterizzato dalla bella levigatezza dell'insieme, in discrete condizioni di conservazione. A NOK MALE HEAD Nigeria In red terracotta, exquisitely executed. The "conic" form of the head surmounted by an elaborate coiffeur is stylistically attributable to some examples in Jemaa and conserved in the Museum in Lagos, datable around the 4th century BC. A rare example characterized by the pleasing overall smoothness, in a fair state of conservation. H. 40 cm.
