Alekseyevich Pridvorov alias Demian Bedny (1889-1945) was a close friend of Lenin, to whom he committed himself from the beginning. Nicknamed "the Prince of proletarian poets", he became a dignitary of the Soviet regime, with an apartment in the Kremlin.
