Colored 18K (750 ‰) gold ear pendant, chased with foliage and birds, adorned with topazes (probably) on pebbles and small pearls sewn or in pendants. Work of the Iberian Peninsula of the second quarter of the 19th century. Height : 9,5 cm approximately. Gross weight: 9.3 g (missing, 1 tassel with pearls to reattach)
The jewels showing birds and vases arranged as in the piece we present seem to be characteristic of the Valencia region between 1825 and 1850. La joyeria espanola de Felipe II a Alfonso XIII, Madrid 1998, p. 182
