Richard's Patent Steam Engine Indicator in its original oak box and its accessories (bolts, valves, springs, ) in brass. This system allows to visualize the pressure exerted in a given system. Charles Richard, American inventor took back this technique in 1862 by adapting it for the high pressures. Our model bears the signature of " Hannan and Buchanan of Glasgow, Scotland ".
