Imre SZANTO and various unidentified Hungarian artists]. Various pleasures, ca. 1920-1950. Approximately 45 drawings in pencil, ink, gouache or watercolor, various sizes. Some signed. Others monogrammed or dated. Chanteau is the pseudonym of Imre Szànto (1895-1957), a famous Hungarian fashion photographer and illustrator who worked in Berlin and Vienna. His work was published in numerous magazines between 1929 and 1943, including Der Silberspiegel.
