Large in-8, rosewood morocco, on the first plate a large oval-shaped knotted cord mosaic of burgundy and white morocco and enhanced with gilt fillets, interior bold fillet, lining and endpapers of salmon moire, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine, half morocco folder of the same colour, slipcase (Nonna Knapp). First edition, with a frontispiece and 9 coloured figures by Albert Lynch, etched by Gaujean. BINDING BY NONNA KNAPP, bookbinder born in Russia and who exhibited in Paris at the 1938 Salon. Cover soiled.
