First edition of the translation from English. After several stays in Mexico the author had brought back to London important collections of objects and naturalized birds. The spelling of his name does not seem to be fixed.
The atlas contains 20 lithographed plates: portraits, pyramids, costumes (6 in color), maps (2 folded), views (Mexico, Vera Cruz, Los Angeles).
