Series of four Switzerland - vedute, each pencil drawings, partly heightened with white on different papers, each dated and titled at the bottom, the series includes the following views "Wäggis am Righi", "Brunnen, Schwytz & die Mythen vom Selisberg aus", Standstad. 4 W. St. See" and "Hohnstein", image each 16 x 23 cm, sheets each 16 x 23 cm, all dated 1854 with full date, all in good condition with slight signs of age, edges partly soiled, partly minimally spotted, one sheet later mounted on cardboard 0123 Eduard Frey was born in Como in Lombardy in 1813, he studied at the Academy of Arts in Munich and completed his education with the architect and drawing teacher Franz Graff (1803 - 1859) in Solothurn, whom his mother married in second marriage, at the Swiss Turnus exhibitions in 1854 and 1856 he exhibited views from Switzerland and Northern Italy Prov.Private property, according to the previous owner acquired in the 1960s from a descendant of the painter.
