Mixed lot of nine Switzerland - vedute, each pencil drawings, partly heightened with white on different papers, partly with border line, below mostly dated and partly titled, three sheets indistinctly signed "Frey", among them views of "Staubbach", "Meyenried" and "Peters Insel", image up to 28 x 21,5 cm, sheets up to 35 x 25 cm, dated 1852 - 1860 mostly with full date, partly age and storage marks, at margins partly stained or soiled, corners and margins of the largest sheet with distinct lesions 0119 Eduard Frey was born in 1813 in Como in Lombardy, he studied at the Academy of Arts in Munich and completed his education with the architect and drawing teacher Franz Graff (1803 - 1859) in Solothurn, whom his mother married in second marriage, at the Swiss Turnus exhibitions in 1854 and 1856 he exhibited views from Switzerland and Northern Italy Prov.Private property, according to the previous owner acquired in the 1960s from a descendant of the painter.
