A Tibetan gilt-bronze 'jewelled' figure of Maitreya, 17th century, cast standing wearing a long shawl, his left hand placed in the gesture of supreme generosity, his right hand held to his chest clutching a lotus stem which flowers over his right shoulder, his dhoti and tiara set with turquoise and coral cabochons, 10cm high, later wood stand
