A Chinese pale celadon jade ruyi-sceptre, 17th-18th century, carved with a phoenix in a rocky landscape, the long curved shaft decorated with flower tendrils and a phoenix in high-relief, 34cm long, on a fitted wood stand carved with a pair of bats amongst ruyi-sprays 品相報告 Condition Report: Some small nicks to the extremities and a few small polished areas, a short hairline to one of the tendrils, a bruised area to the end of the shaft with associated hairlines and small chips, stone is of pale greenish-white colour with some natural flaw lines, veins and inclusions
