Aulerques Eburovices (2nd century BC). Scyphate hemistatere on wide flan, wolf type 2nd-1st century BC. BC. Laughing head of Apollo on left, hair formed of dots, wisps, fern wreath and bar. Rv. Horse with beaded mane, leaping to the right and driven by an charioteer; in front, a radiant star and below, a wolf leaping to the right, mouth wide open. A superb copy, struck on a wide, scyphate blank, with slight mint weakness and fine corner breaks to the right. Very rare and few known examples (Cf. CGF bga_388820, 9800 €).
