New edition, whose style has been brought up to date, of this treatise by the Protestant theologian Pierre Du Moulin (1600-1684), who emigrated to England and became canon of Canterbury. It is illustrated with an allegorical frontispiece engraved on copper by D. Coster after D. Marot fils.
